Additional Perseverance Photos Released February 19, 2021

Plumes of dust blown by rockets are visible below Perseverance as it was lowered to the ground. A question under investigation is whether the rocks next to the rover are volcanic or sedementary.  Systems will be tested for several days before it moves from its landing spot. For ongoing information on Perseverance, see: Mars Perseverance Rover | NASA.
