Humanoid Robots and Robot Dogs Dazzle at Beijing’s Annual World Robot Conference

At the annual Chinese World Robot Conference (WRC 2023), Aug. 16 – August 20, 140 Chinese and overseas robot companies are showing 600+ robotics products designed for manufacturing, surgery, surveillance, education, entertainment and companionship, among other applications. Realistic skin and eyes, and gesticulating arms and hands show the uncanny realism of China’s humanoid android robots.  Robot dogs were also out in force. Industrial robot arms for factory production lines were another highlight of the far-ranging show. One of Chinese leader Xi Jinping’s goals is to further expand the country’s vast manufacturing sector's use of high-tech industrial robots.  View detailed coverage of the WRC 2023 at Scmp.com and Borneobulletin.com.bn
