The Role of STEM Education in China’s Ambitious Future

Amidst growing global geopolitical competition, China’s aspirations range from exploration of the moon and Mars to achieving a world-class navy and world economic stature in the “Belt and Road Initiative.”  These programs are based on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education in K-12 through university level schools, as well as in professional educational programs. It is a focused plan that the U.S., the EU and other Western countries must be prepared to compete with. One example of the many STEM initiatives in China is Litebee.com.
